SUTTER COURTS CONTRACT RATIFIED
On November 13, 2025, UPE and your Court bargaining team finalized the bargaining process by holding a ratification vote. Our members had the opportunity to be part of this process by casting their votes, and we are happy to report that 100% of those votes were in favor of ratification. Sutter Court Contract Ratification Vote
UPE will be holding voting on Thursday November 13th from 11:30-1:30 pm in the Jury Assembly Room. Please come and cast your vote! Tentative Agreement Summary Economics Two-Year Contract. Salary Adjustment for all Classifications. 2026: 5.5% 2027: 2% Increase to longevity benefit for any employee with 25 and 30 years of service. They will now get a 5% one-time lump sum payment, instead of the prior 2.5%. This brings them up to the 5% that the 15 and 20 years of service get. I

Sutter Court Bargaining: Tentative Agreement Reached!
Greetings Union Brothers and Sisters, Your Sutter Court Bargaining Team met with the Court for our final scheduled negotiations session. We are happy to share that we have reached a tentative agreement on a successor contract for 2025-2027, a 2-year contract. Sutter Court Bargaining Update
On October 23, your Sutter Bargaining Team met with the Court for our 5th negotiations session. We thought we were close to making an agreement today, but the Court kept pushing back on our most important counteroffers. They did come back with proposals to increase their contribution toward employee healthcare, and movement in other areas, but our two remaining asks are not unreasonable.
