Sutter Bargaining Unit Update

UPE and representatives from Sutter Court met on September 24, 2020, to continue contract negotiations. The Court had promised to make a full budget presentation to UPE at this meeting. However, UPE was disappointed to learn that the Court did not have a complete understanding of its budget picture. The Court could only share broad projections. In response, UPE made a number of specific information requests relating to the Budget in order to get a complete understanding of the Court’s fiscal picture.


The two sides are scheduled to meet again on October 8, 2020 and UPE is hopeful that the Court will have finalized its budget by that point.
