Economics
Two-Year Contract.
Salary Adjustment for all Classifications.
2026: 5.5%
2027: 2%
Increase to longevity benefit for any employee with 25 and 30 years of service. They will now get a 5% one-time lump sum payment, instead of the prior 2.5%. This brings them up to the 5% that the 15 and 20 years of service get.
Increase in tuition reimbursement from $275 to $500 annually.
Section 125 Cafeteria Plan, a deferred compensation plan offered to employees. The Court will cover the cost of the monthly fee for the program administration.
Healthcare
Beginning January 1st, 2026, the Court’s monthly contributions are as follows:
o Employee Only: previously $1242.65, now $1,599.21
o Employee + 1: previously $2166.13, now $2,787.67
o Employee + 2 or more: previously $2815.95, now $3,623.96
If in 2027 the health care rates rise, the Court will increase the flat rate contribution in an amount equal to 50% of the increase to the benchmark plan.
We got the Court to agree to meet and confer with the Union regarding retiree health contributions during the life of this contract. We hope these discussions can lead to an increase in retiree health contributions in the near future.
We found out that the Court receives $45,000 a year for retiree health costs. We were told only $384 of that is currently going towards our retired members’ costs. They were unable to explain where the rest of it is going.
The opportunity to meet and confer will give us a chance to fight for a higher contribution to our members’ retiree health costs
