On September 26, 2023, your UPE Yuba Court Negotiations team met with representatives from Yuba Court for our first bargaining session. The two sides agreed to ground rules for the negotiation, and the Court passed UPE one proposal to incorporate a previously agreed side letter into the agreement.
The Court also presented UPE with its approved budget for the upcoming year and information relating to health care costs. UPE reviewed this information, asked additional questions, and then spent time analyzing the data and beginning to prepare proposals. The two sides will meet again on October 12, 2023, as UPE continues the fight for a fair contract.
