DHA Lobby Services

Greetings, UPE sisters and brothers. On January 16, 2025, The UPE 008 Meet and Confer team met with DHA management on their proposed “Lobby Enhancements” for open lobbies, including the expansion of the information desk and resource rooms. These changes would primarily impact Human Services Assistants (HSA).

The HSAs on the meet and confer team provided invaluable assistance in understanding the impacts. Among the issues discussed were new additional duties and expectations, training needs, rotations of assignments, workload, and safety concerns.

At least one additional meeting will be needed to resolve the remaining issues. The scheduled rollout date will be in April. Stay Turned!
