Court Professional: Negotiations Update

On March 16, 2023, your UPE Court Professional Negotiations Team began negotiations with Sacramento Court.


UPE made four (4) proposals relating to adding holidays, reducing the time items remain in supervisor desk files, and increasing bereavement leave. The Court and UPE reached a tentative agreement on UPE’s holiday proposal, formally incorporating Juneteenth and Native American Day into the contract. The Court made two proposals further incorporating items previously agreed to between UPE and the Court. The parties are scheduled to meet again on April 14. UPE plans to introduce a number of proposals at that meeting designed to improve working conditions and compensation.
