DHA: IEVS Federal Tax Info Changes

Your UPE 008 bargaining team met with the Department on September 12, 2023, concerning proposed changes related to the Federal Tax Info (FTI), BEERS process.


The Department disclosed that due to recent audits by the IRS certain processes were being done incorrectly. The Department has rewritten program policy documents to accurately correct the discrepancies and intends to implement the corrections in the coming weeks.


UPE requested that the training modules be given to our members in advance as well as a 6 month hold harmless for errors and omissions stemming from the changes. The County agreed to these proposals.
