Updated: Jul 6, 2023

On June 23, 2023, UPE met with the County in regards to updating the above policy.

UPE found that there were no significant impacts on the membership. The policy had not changed, only the formatting of how the policy is now written; however, UPE requested one (1) update for clarification. One of the Worker of the Day (WOD) duties states: "handles emergency issues, telephone calls, or office visits as appropriate and documents in Compu Trust Worksheet." We asked that the language state: "lobby visits as opposed to office visits." This change was requested so as not to be confused with going out on visits. The County was agreeable to the language change.

Thank you to the participants for your advocacy
