Black Infant Health Services 71J - Contract Amendment for Additional Funding

On January 31, 2023, UPE met with the County regarding the above proposal concerning the impact on our members and the community the County is trying to serve.


UPE inquired as to why the two (2) contractors are necessary. The County’s response was they need both contractors in order to reach the community in both the North and South regions of Sacramento. Additional information such as birth facts for Sacramento County, community outreach flyers, services provided, etc.


UPE saw no reason not to continue forward with the 71J and had no objections.
