On February 27, 2025, your UPE Bargaining Team held a preliminary meeting with County management to discuss ground rules for contract negotiations. Your team presented counterproposals regarding some of the language in the County’s ground rules proposal. While we did not reach an agreement during this meeting, we are hopeful that we can finalize the ground rules by our next meeting on March 20, when we reconvene.
Please stay tuned for updates after each bargaining session, as we plan to keep our membership informed following every meeting.
Special thanks to the members of our bargaining team for their dedication to the membership.
