Your UPE Negotiations team and Yuba Superior Court continued negotiations on November 2, 2023. To date, your UPE Negotiations team has made six proposals. These proposals include salary increases, increases to vacation accruals, a training differential, and a parental leave benefit. The parties tentatively agreed on UPE’s proposal to remove language from the contract that limited employees to only 80 hours of sick leave per calendar year for the care of an immediate family member. The two sides are set to meet again on Tuesday, November 7, 2023.
