EMD Correspondence Policy

On February 10, 2023, UPE met with the County regarding the above policy.


UPE noticed that there was some information missing from the new policy, such as formatting instructions, whether this is for both communications in-house and with the public, and the ADA guidelines for communications. The County informed us that previously it was a combined policy and procedure, and they have chosen to separate the two. They are still in the process of finalizing the procedure. We informed the County that they should present both if they are going to reference the procedure in the policy.


We agreed to meet again once the procedure has been finalized.
