On October 1, 2024, your 005 Office-Technical governing board met with DHS management to discuss their “Reception Desk Coverage Procedure.” DHS never notified us of this new procedure until a member informed us. This procedure did not exist before, as there is no past document on which it is based. Its implementation impacts the Health Services Coordinator classification, so we are meeting to mitigate the impact and revise this document.
DHS management was difficult to work with, but more meetings will come. Stay tuned!
