005 Bargaining Update

On May 14, 2025, your 005 bargaining team met with the County for our next contract negotiations session. The county finally came back with some responses for us. They provided a counter proposal on standby assignments and callback compensation, parental leave, and, most importantly, salary increases. Though disappointing, they made a slight movement. The County proposed 2.7% in year 1, 2-4% in year 2, and 2-4% in year 3. We will continue to push for a fair and equitable number, as this is still not considered an “increase.” At most, it is a cost-of-living adjustment.

Our next bargaining session is set for May 21, 2025. Please wear RED to support your team while they are in session.

More to come, stay tuned.

TOGETHER WE ARE STRONG!
