On March 26, 2025, your 005 Office Technical Bargaining Team met with County representatives to continue discussing contract language proposals for a new agreement. The County informed us that they will not respond to any of our proposals until they have received all that our bargaining team intends to propose.

To date, we have submitted various economic and non-economic proposals and have countered or rejected several of the County’s proposals. Our next meeting is scheduled for April 3, 2025, where we will continue working toward a new contract. Below is a list of some items that are currently being proposed:

UPE Proposals:
1. Increases to the Wellness Incentive Program
2. Increase in Application Registration Differential from 2.5% to 3%
3. Longevity pay
4. Uniform allowance increased from $200 to $300
5. Increase in the County’s medical contributions
6. Salary increase of 10% for each year of the contract

County Proposals:
1. CTO not to be included in calculations for overtime
2. Night shift pay differentials are applicable only to regularly scheduled work
3. Restrictions on release time for County employees during bargaining and meet-and-confer sessions
4. Reduction of family death leave from 40 hours to 20 hours
5. A cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) ranging from 1% to 4% over the three years of the contract

Your bargaining team still has several proposals to present, and we will provide updates once they are on the table.

TOGETHER WE ARE STRONG!
