UPE Reminds Sacramento County Board of Supervisors of DPS Failures

United Public Employees' Executive Director Ted Somera speaks at the March 11, 2025 Sacramento County Board of Supervisors Meeting. At the meeting, the Board voted to appoint Joseph Angelo as the new Director of the Department of Personnel Services (DPS). UPE spoke at the meeting to warn the BOS that little has changed at DPS. Our members' concerns are still not being addressed, and the Department continues to make things harder and not better for our members. UPE's message was clear: something must change!
