On September 18th, 2025, your 008/005 governing board members met with the department for a second meeting regarding their intention to reconvene the use of weekly feedback reports for both HSS and clerical staff. The department continues to maintain that they intend to use these reports to encourage transparency with staff on the data they use to monitor operations. Though they agree that they are not trying to establish quotas when pressed repeatedly, they refuse to say they wouldn’t be used for disciplinary purposes. Since our members have not been receiving performance evaluations for decades in some cases, we asserted that these forms have no place being used in a process that has been absent for so long. We have requested to review the performance evaluation that will be used for each classification, and we will need to meet again to discuss.
Stay tuned
Special thanks to 008 and 005 board members Olivia Brown, Debbie Tellez, James Starr, and Stephanie McCall
