Greetings, Union sisters and brothers. Your bargaining team met with Court Administration and the State Mediator for a second session to work out language for a successor agreement. Both sides (through the Mediator) were able to craft language that affirmed everything that we needed to tentatively agree on a contract. We were successful in guaranteeing our “Me Too” language that would assure that no other group of employees outside of the bargaining unit would receive a compensation package that is greater than what we have negotiated.
Your team will put together a summary of everything that was agreed upon for your review prior to a membership meeting scheduled for Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at the Gibson Courthouse from 5 to 6 p.m.
We are setting up the logistics for a ratification vote on Wednesday November 13th.
