DHA - Primary Care Clinic CMISP Unit

Greetings, union brothers and sisters.

Your negotiation team met with the department regarding the reestablishment of a CMISP unit. This unit will be located at 4600 Broadway, where the Primary Care Clinic is located. Due to changes, in part, caused by HR-1, the department believes there will be a need for a full-time unit of eligibility workers. The unit will also consist of 1 OA, 1 HSS supervisor, and 6 HSS.  All staff will report to the HSS supervisor. The hours will be 7 am to 6 pm, with the possibility of RDO’s in the future; however, those will not be offered immediately. UPE asked if staff will be required to take any special medical tests due to the location of a medical facility. Management has not considered this and agreed to pause the advertisement until that question could be answered. Stay tuned for updates.
