DHA - Power Inn Service Center

Greetings, Union Family,

Your 005 and 008 governing boards met with DHA to discuss the new service center they are opening on Power Inn Road, on the first floor of the DCSS building. They are anticipating anywhere from 100 to 125 people to move (including eligibility staff, clerical, supervisors, an ASO, and a program manager). Our main concerns were to ensure current staff will be given the opportunity to put in for transfer, that their ADA accommodations be moved with them, and that there be clear communication if changes need to be made to people’s current schedules, and that be done by inverse seniority if it needs to happen. We also proposed that people be given the opportunity to bid by seniority for their cubicles, which the department will be looking into and getting back to us on. Recruitment for this location is planned for December 2026, with the first group of staff expected to move on Monday, January 11, 2027.

The department will get back to us on who the program manager is, as well as our proposals.
