DHA: EBT Electronic Theft

Greetings union sisters and brothers.  Your UPE 008 bargaining team met with DHA management on April 19, 2024, regarding management proposal for workers to handle the processing of EBT 2259 from start to finish, including the issuance of benefits. 


Your team believes that determining fraud is not proper work for the HSS classification.  We also believe it represents a significant increase in workload.  Your team proposed that EBT 2254 be processed by the Program Integrity Division.  The County has not yet responded to our proposal.  Further meetings are being scheduled.
