Court Professional Bargaining Update

Your UPE Court Professional Bargaining Team held its second negotiations session with the Court on July 13, 2026.  UPE passed three proposals, all related to providing more time off for our members.  The Court provided UPE with two proposals that seek to further clarify the existing language in the contract.  The Court also countered UPE’s proposal to expand bereavement leave.  The Court will be providing UPE with a presentation on its Budget for 2026/2027 on July 14, 2026.  UPE will be paying close attention to the numbers and the details.  Members can expect UPE to make further monetary proposals at our next meeting on August 14, 2026.
