Your 008 bargaining team met with the department regarding the EBT 2259 known theft list process. The process involves replacing EBT cards when identified as known to have been compromised. Previously induction classes were processing these lists, but they have since graduated and are now on the line. The department is now shifting this duty to the Cal Works continuing & intake follow-up units. This work will be done on a regularly scheduled task time and evenly distributed amongst these groups. We will be meeting with the department 30 days from implementation to check and see how the process is going.
Special thanks to Stephanie McCall, Patrick Hunter, Nichole Gorman & Michelle Moyer for their assistance on this issue.
