Greetings UPE Brothers and Sisters,

On April 3, 2025, your Office Technical Bargaining Team met with County representatives for another contract bargaining session. We presented the following proposals, mostly economic:

  • An increase to the correctional facility special pay differential
  • Increases to equity adjustments.
  • A special assignment pay differential for Collection Services Agents
  • Increases to education and certification incentive pay.
  • County to cover the parking fees for employees paying for parking.
  • Removing the informal discussion step from the grievance process

Our next meeting is scheduled for April 9, 2025, where we will continue working towards attaining a new contract. Please remember to wear RED in support of your bargaining team while they are in session.

We still have plenty of County proposals to respond to and will provide updates once the time comes. Stay tuned.

TOGETHER WE ARE STRONG!
