The strength of the union depends largely on the involvement of the membership. UPE members have always been very active in the union. There are many ways to become involved. From negotiations to posting flyers on bulletin boards, your actions make a difference. When management sees workers participating in their union, they know they can't walk all over them. Discuss with your co-workers about how you can share the responsibility for the union. Talk with your Steward, Board member or Business Agent about what you can do to make the union even stronger.
