UPE membership comes with an extensive benefits program.

UPE also negotiates for many types of paid and unpaid leaves and integration between types of leaves. Vacation, Sick Leave, Family Death Leave, Paid Holidays, Paid Parental Leave, Maternity Leave, Medical Leaves, Education Leaves, SDI and FTDI integration are all negotiated in your contract. UPE also works to arrange for discounts for you for entertainment venues as well as the dental plan. If you know of additional dentist, vendors, store or service provider who would be interested in giving discounts to UPE members, please contact our Office Manager, Jennifer at mattox@upe1.org.


ADDITIONAL INSURANCE

In addition to these benefits, Local 1 also makes a wide variety of insurance plans available for members to purchase from Parker Group using payroll deduction.
