Board members.

Members volunteer to serve on the Boards elected by their bargaining units. From time to time, a member cannot complete his/her term because of promotion, retirement, or personal obligations. The Board may appoint a member from that chapter to fill the remainder of the vacant term.

When a Board is filling a vacant term, the information about the seat and how to apply will be posted here.

Are you a leader?

There are currently vacancies on your union Boards. These Boards set policy and serve as the negotiations team for their units in contract negotiations and in meet and confers. Each Board meets once a month There are other occasional evening and weekend meetings. Any UPE member may apply to be appointed to one of these vacancies in their unit.

The COURT OFFICE TECHNICAL GOVERNING BOARD has two vacancies in the Deputy Clerk Chapter. Please contact Court Board Chair, Tamara Rosales or the UPE office (736-9503) if you are interested. Please plan on attending the next Board meeting Thursday May 8 at 5:30 pm to be considered.

THE COUNTY OFFICE TECHNICAL GOVERNING BOARD has vacancies in Chapter 1 due to a recent promotion. Any Office Assistant or Senior Office Assistant may apply. If you are interested contact the UPE office at 736-9503 or email info@upe1.org. Please plan on attending the next Board meeting on Wednesday May 7 at 6:00 pm.

The UPE BOARD OF DIRECTORS has a vacancy in the Eligibilty Chapter. Any Eligibility Specialist, Senior Eligibility Specialist or Human Services Specialist who is a UPE member in good standing is eligible to be appointed. If you are interested please plan on attending the next Board meeting on Tuesday May 13 at 6pm. Contact the UPE office for more information.

All Board meetings are open to EVERY member and are held at the UPE Union Hall 5370 Elvas Ave, Suite 100.
